The Amador family is made up of two members, who spend most of their time in the dining room. They are in charge of looking for food. They obtain the same through the basic basket, the agricultural market, private kiosks, street vendors (carretilleros) and, to a lesser extent, sales by revolico. Their favorite dish is sweet and sour eggplant. They eat out at least once a month. They haven't bought electrical appliances for more than a year and the last one they bought was a fan. The monthly income is 6 thousand Cuban pesos. Work alternates in the kitchen and they tend to pray before eating.
