In Cuba there are activists who promote improvements in the quality of companion animals on the island. However, feeding these pets is still a complicated issue in the midst of the economic crisis. Food Monitor Program dedicates a special space for these little animals that accompany us every day.
La situación de alimentación, cuidados y bienestar no es ajena a la población animal. En 2021, se expidió el Decreto Ley de Bienestar Animal en Cuba con el objetivo de ayudar a esta población . Sin embargo, la situación de alimentación y cuidados sigue siendo muy precaria para esta población. Los animales, las mascotas son también victimas de la escasez general que asola al país desde hace años.
